The Warbrand's
Guide to Combat

ABOUT PROJECT

Game Design

I designed new mechanics from scratch, crafting systems that were deep enough to satisfy the rules-lawyers and approachable enough to welcome total newbies.

Art Direction

I established the visual world of the book, wrangling artists, chasing a cohesive aesthetic, and making sure every illustration felt like it belonged in the same universe.

Layout

I rolled up my sleeves and laid out hundreds of pages in InDesign, turning a chaotic mountain of rules, lore, and tables into something people actually wanted to read.

Playtesting

Playtesting meant herding groups of friends and strangers through countless hours of gameplay, taking notes, breaking things, and making them better…repeatedly…

Marketing

I put on my marketing hat and built the buzz that brought the book to an actual audience.
